The landscape for the house is designed by making parti diagrams from the poem Five landscapes by Cole Swensen. These diagrams are translated into design given the freedom of spatial configuration in a farm house project. Central water body becomes the feature with an island in center. Each space is wrapped around different experiences - either as a pause point or along the trail. The material textures and focus elements majorly act as space creators

Various options were explored. The weekend house landscape is envisioned as a serene retreat where water, texture, and greenery create an immersive natural experience. A reflective water body with a bridge crossing becomes the central focal point, framed by dense planting and shaded tree groves.

This landscape approach focuses on creating a more open and interactive environment that blends relaxation with recreation. Natural stone elements and textured pathways guide movement through the site, while pockets of greenery and water features introduce calm visual moments. The design encourages fluid movement between social spaces and peaceful retreats, fostering a balanced weekend escape connected to nature.
