The landscape design for the Somnath Sarovar development envisions the pilgrim’s journey as a seamless experience, connecting deity shrines through shaded green corridors. The masterplan integrates movement with spirituality, guiding visitors from multiple entry points through recreational and contemplative spaces. The landscape becomes an active medium, structuring pauses, enhancing views, and enriching the gradual progression toward the shrine, creating a cohesive, immersive, and spiritually elevating environment.

Somnath as the Cosmic Nucleus - A center where faith, time, and nature align , unfolds like the waxing and waning moon, a living cycle of spiritual motion. The Sarovar landscape becomes a lunar journey, where each zone embodies a phase of the moon, guiding pilgrims through a rhythm of reflection, awakening, celebration, and return. From the stillness of the New Moon to the radiance of the Full Moon, the spaces are choreographed to mirror the emotional and spiritual arc of pilgrimage. This Moon Cycle Landscape connects sacred water edges, mythic points, and ecological habitats into a continuous experiential loop , a journey where every step resonates with the eternal tide of faith, nature, and time.

The masterplan will unfold in three phases: a larger public landmark zone establishing identity and gathering spaces; a hotel response zone aligning with hospitality functions and arrival experiences; and a biodiversity-focused interactive zone, encouraging active engagement with nature through immersive landscapes, ecological sensitivity, and layered experiential pathways.

The design masterplan establishes a cohesive framework, organizing movement, spatial hierarchy, and key landscape zones. It defines primary connections, integrates the sarovar as a central anchor, and aligns built and natural elements. This phase sets the foundation for subsequent development, guiding identity, functionality, and the overall experiential character of the project.
