Vanvaso

Location: Ahmedabad
Area: 11,63,000 sq.ft. (27 acre)
Vanvaso is envisioned as a landscape-led master planning project where plot allocations and a clear road network establish structure and connectivity. At its core, a series of central courts emerge as key spatial anchors, designed as vibrant public realms. These courts foster interaction, pause, and attraction, shaping a cohesive environment that balances functionality with experience, while bringing community life and landscape together seamlessly.

The plotting diagram organizes plots based on categorized area requirements, ensuring efficient land distribution. Road widths are adjusted to suit hierarchy and accessibility, creating a clear network. The common open space (COP) is maintained at 35% of the total site area, complying with regulations while balancing built form with open landscape.

Water acts as the primary connective element across all common areas, guiding movement and shaping spatial experiences. Pathways navigate along its edges, while varied water forms—ponds, channels, and reflective surfaces—anchor key spaces. This approach creates a cohesive design language, where interactions with water define character, continuity, and a layered experiential journey.
